It is not uncommon that on your very first visit, the services will be limited to a Comprehensive Exam, with either Dr. Desai or one of her associates, and a full set of x-rays. The primary focus of this visit is data collection and an opportunity to establish rapport so that we can better understand your dental needs and expectations. We may not do a cleaning on your first visit due to either time or scheduling restrictions and hygienist availability. If you would like to have a cleaning on your first visit, please make the scheduler aware of your expectations so that we can better serve your needs. X-rays play a critical role in our ability to diagnose disease in your mouth. It is not sufficient to find and diagnose disease based only on a visual exam and this is considered the standard of care for the Indian Dental Association as well as Max Dentals’ specialist. Under certain circumstances, x-rays can be delayed, especially if there is a medical reason involved that is supported by your physician.

You can usually get an appointment within 24 hours especially if it's an emergency. If it is an emergency, we'll most likely see you the day you call.
We do see children and suggest that their first dental appointment be at the age of 1.
We maintain a clean and sterile working space that is both warm and inviting.
Most of the time we are on schedule, which means we expect to see you at your designated appointment time. We don't want you to wait any more than you would have us wait for you to arrive. We value being on time. It is important to realize however that if there is a patient coming in for an emergency whether it is you or any of our patients, we do our best to accommodate them and ask for your kind consideration under these circumstances.
We offer in-office payment plans without interest for 3 months for patients of record. We also accept major credit cards, and we offer a 5% discount for prepayment of your entire treatment plan.
